Visitor access control software replaces the visitor book at the gate with a verified digital entry. With Worxit's Visitor Access Control module, the guard scans the visitor's South African driving licence (SADL) or ID card, and the vehicle's licence disc, with a 2D scanner. SADL photo verification adds a photo check to reduce fraud and mistakes. The guard adds a vehicle photo, the number plate and notes such as the unit visited. Access can be limited to certain locations or buildings, visitor access cards can be issued, and each visit is kept in the site's visitor history for audits and investigations. Under POPIA, collect only what the access purpose needs and tell visitors what you collect. Licences follow standard Worxit pricing: the dashboard is R600 per month, including one admin user, and each phone, tablet or radio running the app needs a R350 monthly device licence, all ex VAT.
