What is biometric time and attendance, and how does Worxit run it?
Biometric time and attendance records when staff start and finish work by checking who they are, not just which card was used. Worxit's Time & Attendance module uses facial recognition and NFC to stop buddy clocking, where one employee clocks in for another. Staff clock in at access points, on-site locations or approved mobile zones, and attendance is recorded by location. Break tracking, shift summaries and reports with time worked are produced for payroll and compliance, and a live on-duty view shows who is working across all sites. Staff are enrolled on mobile, uploaded in batches or linked to visitor access devices. Licences follow standard Worxit pricing: the dashboard is R600 per month, including one admin user, and each phone, tablet or radio running the app needs a R350 monthly device licence, all ex VAT. Clocking hardware is sold separately.
